The location can't be beat as it is easy to find on "main" road from train station, bearing in mind Venice's winding and un-named paths and alleys all over are not easy to get lost. Long walk to St Mark's Square but very convenient to take the vaporetto. First day we followed signs giving just direction to reach Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square, but took us almost an hour with stopping to take photos. Next day, we took vaporetto and was easy. More a hostel -like setting but we had room with private toilet and bath on higher floor and it was quiet. We saw the shared bathroom with was not the communal type but individual bath and toilet , each facility serves a few rooms. There is a front reception and workers are polite and helpful. no elevator but staff willing to help with luggage. Street full of restaurants and since our room was at the back, we did not find it noisy. Simple but sufficient supplies such as toilet paper and simple packages of shampoo and soap.

I recently stayed at Hotel Adua in Venice and had a pleasant experience. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. As expected, like many other hotels in Venice, the decor and overall ambiance of the hotel were a bit dated. However, this didn't bother us as we knew what to expect when booking. In terms of value for the location, we found it to be very good. The hotel's central location allowed us to explore Venice easily, and we felt it was worth the price we paid. Moreover, all the facilities in the hotel were in good working condition, adding to our comfort during the stay. Overall, Hotel Adua provided us with a convenient and pleasant stay in Venice, thanks to its friendly staff and excellent location.

Our host was an angel. Very friendly, accomodating and warm, Maria took the time to have a chat, explain everything we needed to know, give us any recommendations and ensure a thoroughly clean apartment was awaiting us. This apartment felt like a home away from home and we are very grateful for Maria for all that she did. Everything was in working order and in a great location! Close walk to the river, bus stop and supermarket and 20mins from the city centre, this quaint, vintage classic Italian apartment had everything you need! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Florence. Very reasonable price too compared to other properties going.

Location is amazing. A few minutes walk from the train station, boat to go all over Venice and bus to go mainland/airport. Short walking distance to go reasonable restaurant. Room is enough space for the 4 peoples. We stayed next building where hotel has signs. Also it has narrow steps (Main hotel and annex). Facing the busy street, although night is so quiet. After checkout, we could leave a lots of suits case. It was big help. Hotel owners are so kind and helping, full fun and lovely character. Wish I had a bit more time to talk to them. If is not a luxury hotel at all. But I felt I stayed one of my cousin/friends house.

I wanted to stay close to the Venezia Santa Lucia (railway station), because I had an early morning train next day, so I stayed at the Adua Hotel. I enjoyed my stay! Clean room with a quiet courtyard. I stayed in a room with a sink inside the room for a morning routine and shared toilet and shower; everything was clean. I took the photo of the room when I left it, so don't worry: the bed will be made and towels will be neatly folded on the bed.
